Some businesses and organizations campaign to win awards in “Best of…” publications, asking their communities to place votes on their behalf. And, when and if they do win an award, it’s as much a testament to their skill in campaigning as it is to their actual service.

At Mazzoni Center, we choose to dedicate our time, not to campaigning for awards, but to providing the best, most compassionate, thoughtful, and effective health and wellness services we can to our extraordinary community.

So…if we do end up winning an award, we know it must mean that we’re making the impact that we aspire to. 

This past Sunday, the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Philly Favorites supplement was published, and, for the second consecutive year, Mazzoni Center was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Specialty Medical Center.

It means the world to us. And, even though we don’t consider ourselves a “Specialty Medical Center” but instead a comprehensive primary care medical center, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve a special and beautiful population and so appreciative of the support, confidence, and trust that you give to us.

Just this week, we heard from clients with the following affirmations:

“The doctors have a lot of care for their patients and provide top quality care. The center has a lot of different services to help navigate transitioning in every way. It is a safe space where I know I can ask any question and feel affirmed and be provided with resources to help.”
