Care Services Director Alecia Manley has worked at Mazzoni Center since 2001.  In that time she has seen the department expand the scope of its work from HIV-specific social and ancillary services to include services for HIV-negative youth, along with the transgender and LGBT communities in Philadelphia.  A native of Cooperstown, NY, she has 15 years of experience providing social services to the HIV and LGBT communities.  Since receiving degrees in psychology and education from Bucknell University, Alecia has worked as a LGBT youth counselor, a sexual and reproductive health counselor, and an HIV case manager.
