Mazzoni Center is in search of a Full Time HIV Prevention Counselor: Responsibilities include providing HIV counseling and testing services at Mazzoni Center and satellite locations throughout Philadelphia, including local bath houses. The counselor will provide nonjudgmental, client-centered HIV prevention counseling using a risk reduction model.

Must be sensitive to cultural differences and competent to work with groups from diverse racial, ethnic, educational and socioeconomic backgrounds, and sexual orientations. This position requires day (9am-5pm), evening (1pm-9pm), late night (10pm-6am), and weekend hours. Flexibility is a must. 

Currently we are only accepting applicants that are certified PA HIV Prevention Counselors. The ideal candidate will have experience with injection drug users (IDUs) and be knowledgeable about substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, and STDs. Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
